Route information

The route itself is on dirt roads and asphalt, the main challenges during this race will be the combination of heat and dust.

Starting at the 800 year old Htilominlo Temple, runners will cross the plains on dirt tracks towards the ancient city of Old Bagan. Once they reach Dhammayazika Pagoda, the Half marathon and Marathon runners will diverge. Marathon runners will carry on towards New Bagan through a number of Burmese villages.

Half marathon runners will turn onto an asphalt route to the village of West Pwazaw, before turning back onto the marathon route to the finish.

After West Pwazaw village, both routes will merge back together, to be rewarded by a temple-speckled vista  for the final run along a dirt trail back towards Htilominlo Temple.
